The Petroleum Services Association of Canada's (PSAC) 2007 Canadian Drilling Activity Forecast,released in November,predicts the first slowdown in petroleum industry field activity since 2002.Its forecast of 21,500 wells drilled (rig released) across Canada this year represents a 10 per cent drop from its estimated total for 2006 of 23,900.
