Within the Horn River Basin of northeastern British Columbia,the recoverable shale gas resource has been estimated at 60 billion cubic feet per square mile in many areas,triggering a massive land grab.In its quest for organic growth,EOG Resources,Inc.scooped up approximately 140,000 net acres in the basin.
