Well,here we are at the start of another year.The New Year always brings thoughts of change-doing things differently so that our lives or the lives of those around us are enhanced.After 20 or so Jan.1st New Year's resolutions,I finally gave up smoking cigarettes,much to the benefit of everybody around me,including me.I was part of that pioneer wave of converts who for reasons of health,money or guilt gave up what was considered a socially-acceptable practice.
