Gelolgical Sequestration of Carbon Dioxide in Ontario

The increasing content of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the world's atmosphere is directly linked to emissions of CO2 from the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. Fossil fuels provide 80 per cent of the energy consumed in the world each year and this proportion is not expected to decrease in the near future.
