VAM DRILLING HAS acquired Protools, a recognised regional producer of (bottomhole assembly) BHA products, based in Abu Dhabi. Formerly owned by Hunt Oiltools LLC, the acquisition is in line with the company's objective to manufacture drill stems from the rig floor to the BHA.
