摘要

As a new solvent with special properties(mild pulping conditions and high selectivity),dimethyl formamide was used for rice straw pulping.Organosolv pulping of rice straw was conducted following a central composite design,using a three-level factorial plan involving three pulping variables.Responses of the pulp and handsheets properties to the process variables were analyzed with the statistical software MINITAB 14,the main factors of the analysis providing the optimum values of the dependent variables;65.6%(yield),4574 m(breaking length),7.6(folding endurance),1.3 kN/g(burst index)and 7.3 mNm2/g(tear index)for pulps and handsheets.The results obtained showed that acceptable physical properties of paper could be achieved at 210°C,120 min and 70% DMF.
