Federal Reserve Bank of New York Research Library logs 71 millionth OCLC interlibrary loan request

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Research Library made the 71 millionth OCLC inter library loan request on Nov. 29 for a journal article in a Spanish publication. The request was for an article in the journal, Economic Bulletin, published by Bancode Espana, Madrid, Spain. The request was filled by the University of Chicago Library. "We really had no idea we had hit a millionth record," said Jean Wooten, chief librarian, Federal Reserve Bank of New York Research Library, located in New York City. "We're very busy trying to provide our clients with information and materials they request."
