AUSTRIAN ENERGY COMPANY OMV AG, oil and gas company Repsol SA of Spain and Total SA of France have recently made an oil discovery in Libya. The oil discovery named A1-129/02, was drilled to a total depth of 1,836 metres, the first in Libya by OMV and its partners since the revolution back in 2011. Repsol has a 40 per cent interest in the project, while OMV and Total both have a 30 per cent interest.
