摘要

Effect of aging at 475 deg C on corrosion properties of 2205 duplex stainless steel (DSS) was investigated by a potentiodynamic polarisation test. The aging treatment at 475 deg C was conducted up to 1000 It. Corrosion resistance of the steel was degraded with aging at 475 deg C due to the local depletion of Cr around a' precipitates where numerous micropits were formed during the polarisation tests.
