International Symposium 'Sediment Fans of the Indian Ocean and Implications for Marine Policy in the 21st Century' (Colombo, Sri Lanka, December 18-21, 2001)

The International Symposium "Sediment Fans of the Indian Ocean and Implications for Marine Policy in the 21st Century" was organized jointly by the Economic and Social committee of U.N.O. for the Asian-Pacific Region (UNO/ESCAP) and the Secretariat of the Indian Ocean Marine Affairs Cooperation (IOMAC). The Symposium was hosted by the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the National Aquatic Resources Agency and Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
