Ecopetrol Earnings Tumble

Colombia's state oil firm Ecopetrol said on Wednesday its non-consolidated net earnings for the third quarter dropped nearly 70% compared with a year earlier, mainly because of the fall in global oil prices and the peso's appreciation.
