Meyer floats consortium on Marcellus shale fracture'modeling

Meyer & Associates, Inc. is floating the idea of a consortium of energy companies active in the Marcellus Shale to form the Marcellus Shale Fracture Technology Consortium (MSFTC). The objective of the consortium is to assist in collapsing the 'learning curve' in hydraulic fracturing practices in the Marcellus Shale. This will help lead to optimal well production, increased estimated ultimate recovery and maximized economic returns for its contributors.
