To increase the operating capacity of underground gas storage facilities in the Czech Republic, RWE needed to provide operators with increased visibility of the process through automated continuous monitoring. A small window of opportunity to add new instrumentation and a lack of available cable infrastructure prevented a traditional plant upgrade.
