Bearish players in the natural gas market are already contending that low prices are in store for the next several years, with 2010 possibly bringing another sluggish year for industrial and heating fuel. "People tend to forget that no matter how cold this winter gets, we can physically take only so much gas out of storage, and there's a distinct possibility that we may end the winter season with a very healthy carry out. This means that anyone looking for another $7 gas market for most of 2010 will be in for a rude awakening," said a gas futures trader in New York.
