TNK-BP is setting up a trading office out- side Russia in a bid to break into the interna- tional market and further its strategy of be- coming a global player. The Russian-UK venture has named two key executives to head the new trad- ing team, which aims to start trading vol- umes from third parties, as well as its own production — a move that market players say could leave it at odds with its BP par- ent, which already has a fairly strong Russian trading arm.
