API: Pursuit persists for more offshore opportunities

Oil and gas activity in the Atlantic is leading to development and production, and the American Petroleum Institute (API), among others, doesn't want the U.S. to miss out. "There is development in the Atlantic occurring all through the rest of that region," said Erik Mil-ito, upstream group director for API. "If you look off the coast of Canada, off the coast of Nova Scotia, not far from Maine, there is development of a large natural gas field."
