Rosneft Conducted Twenty-stage Fracking at Samotlor

Rosneft has completed pilot project to drill new horizontal well with carrying out 20 stages of hydraulic fracturing (HF) at the Samotlor license area ("SNG" is the operator). The pilot well was drilled within 23 days, its horizontal section length amounted 510 meters, and the distance between frac ports amounted 24 meters. The flow rate of the drilled well was about 100 tons per day. Multi-stage hydraulic fracturing operations have been performed by Rosneft subsidiary RN-Fracturing LLC.
