TATNEFT Continues Developing Advanced Technology for Reservoir Pressure Maintenance (RPM) Aimed at Reducing Energy Costs and Increasing Operations' Efficiency

By using this technology the company's professionals ensure high pressure and corrosion protection of downhole equipment in injection wells, as well as provide for all-round optimization of the RPM processes. Within the period of six months starting from the beginning of 2015 the injection has begun at 99 new injection wells. Implementation of the program of production casing strings high pressure and corrosive destruction was continued with installation of 162 WMX packers. Overall, 4,740 injection wells, in the company have been equipped with M1-X packers starting from the beginning of their installation. Totally, more than 65 percent of the current injection well stock" of the company has been equipped with highly leakproof packers.
