World Oilseed Supplies Will Again Sizably Exceed Demand in 2014/15 for the 3rd Consecutive Year

World production of 10 oilseeds is set to increase by a staggering 27.5 Mn T to a new high of 523.3 Mn T in 2014/15. We have made an upward revision for soybeans but downward revisions for groundnuts and rapeseed as compared to a month earlier. It is the third consecutive year in which world production is not only rising sharply but also noticeably exceeding consumption. Thus, oilseed stocks will continue to rise noticeably, mostly in soybeans and mostly hold in the USA, Argentina and Brazil.
