Solar cells and batteries power this XLP low power video surveillance system at well sites, pipelines, pumping stations, or other remote locations.It conserves power by hibernating in standby mode until an external sensor or central control signals it to wake up. Then XLP immediately records a short "video alarm clip," transmits it to a remote operator at a central HMI/SCADA system, and continues to record video on its disk until commanded to hibernate again.
