Cat CX48-P2300 transmissions were introduced at OTC as specifically designed for hydraulic fracturing associated with well stimulation and completion. The 3,530-lb design offers 2,300-bhp input power and 6,656-lb-ft peak input torque. It is announced to feature improved durability to match engine life plus high horsepower-to-weight ratio.
