Power Vac and Indoor Air Quality

There are no specific regulations or legislation for Indoor Air Quality in Canada. Indoor air quality safety comes under the "General Duty Clause" common to all provincial Occupational Health and Safety legislation: employers must provide a safe and healthy workplace, including good quality breathing air.However, there are established standards for minimum levels of performance for HVAC systems and the quality of air supply to building occupants. Indoor air quality in most building codes fall under design and operation criteria: ASHRAE 62.1-2004,ASHRAE Standard 180-2008 and CSA International Standard Z204-94.
