Big budgets,technological innovation needed for gas developments

IN THE COMING decade Australia's major gas developments are going to be complex and require significant financial resources,and LNG will play an increasingly significant role in the world's energy mix,according to ExxonMobil's Australian geoscience manager Wayne Mudge.Mudge said global LNG trade was about 15 billion cubic feet per day in 2000,representing about 5% of gas supply,and looked set to lift to 70 bcfpd(or about 15% of gas supply)by 2030.
