New Browse discovery could grow further

FLUSH WITH THE apparent success of its untested Poseidon-1 gas discovery in the Browse Basin, Karoon Gas Australia (40%) was quick to tap capital markets for $149.6 million and it expects to raise several million more under a retail share placement scheme. The funds will help the company start an appraisal drilling program over the WA-315-P discovery located almost 500 kilometres off the coast of Western Australia.
