Metgasco strikes paydirt at Casino

COAL SEAM METHANE developer Metgasco has confirmed that its Riflebird-E14 well encountered commercial gas within the company's South Casino project.The well,originally drilled as part of Metgasco's coal seam gas (CSG) development plans,previously intersected what was interpreted as a gross 49 metre conventional gas reservoir in the Koukandowie Formation,however the Sydney-based company needed several months to secure the equipment to properly test the well.
