Cooper Energy's long-delayed, big impact Kurnia well on the island of Madura, Indonesia, has been plugged and abandoned.The wellbore returned some 350 metres of gas shows, and tested gas to the surface, however a lack of formation integrity and an inability to run an adequate alternative bottomhole completion has rendered the well ineffective.
