Government spends big for geoscience collection

AUGUST 16,2006 was a red letter day for the Australian resources sector.Notonly did the Federal Government commit 75 million towards enhancing information to encourage offshore exploration,but it dedicated 59 million for onshore geoscience as part of a bid to secure the nation's energy future.
