Australian Drilling Services(ADS)has dusted off a former rig that was languishing in a yard in Perth,and is in talks to drill within WA and Queensland this yearManaging director Wally Westman said the company was contracted to drill in the Canning Basin for Golden Dynasty Resources,hopefully in early May,before moving off to Queensland,but that the rig may undertake some new drilling or workover work on the way.It's believed the Kremco K600 rig,which has been completely rebuilt,may have been the last old rig in Australia not pressed into service.
