摘要

The diffusion coefficients of lithium, sodium, potassium, and cesium chlorides in aqueous solutions in their passage through silica membranes with the pore radius r p = 4.5–70 nm are determined over a wide range of solution concentrations. The membrane transport of the salts is discussed in terms of the structuring of the water boundary layers near the silica surface and their disruption by cations.
