APPLICATION OF AN EXTRUSION PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING OF CYLINDRICAL SAMPLES FROM NON-METALLIC MODEL MATERIALS

摘要

A method of preparation of plasticine-based model materials, used for physical modeling of metal working processes has been presented. An extrusion process for manufacturing cylindrical samples from non-metallic model materials has been developed. Constitutive equations obtained in compression tests can be useful for preparation of new model materials simulating metal working processes.
