Procedure for the Approval of Manufacturers of Hull Structural Steels Intended for Welding with High Heat Input (2006)

摘要

This Appendix specifies the weldability confirmation procedures of normal and higher strength hull structural steels stipulated in Sections 2-1-2 and 2-1-3 intended for welding with high heat input over 50 kJ/cm(127 kJ/in.). The weldability confirmation procedure is to be generally applied at manufacturer's option and valid for certifying that the steel has satisfactory weldability for high heat input welding concerned under testing conditions.
