Grand finale of Kolkata Rubber Conference under the series of AIRIA's region-wise Natianal Rubber Conference (NRC) 2012

The finale of AIRIA's NRC 2012 series concluded well. The two-day Conference at Kolkata during 14 -15 December 2012 was a unique meeting point and an ideal platform for meaningful interactions and networking among rubber industry players, researchers, institutional faculties, distinguished resource persons from the corporate sector, etc. The significant starter was the inaugural addresses by the AIRIA President, Sr. Vice-President, two former Presidents and the Guest-of-Honour Prof. D.J. Chattopadhyay, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kolkata. They highlighted the challenges of the Indian rubber industry in the wake of the global economic downturn, catalytic role of AIRIA as business facilitator, technological researches of the institutions vis-a-vis the utility value of the Conference.
