BFGoodrich recalls 46,000 passenger/light truck tires

BFGoodrich Tires,Greenville,SC,owned by France's Michelin,is recalling 46,000 passenger and light truck tires in the United States for a condition that could possibly result in steel belt separation.BFGoodrich said there have been no accidents or injuries reported to date and no property damage claims filed.The company said its decision was based on six tires returned by consumers for tire vibration,noise and ride-comfort issues.It found the problems,if not addressed,could lead to steel belt separation.
