The key trends in interior surfaces and finishes are driven by in-depth market analysis and major R&D investments both by the materials manufacturers and by companies involved in plant and technology development. These latter companies in particular have the task of studying and developing increasingly innovative aesthetic solutions capable of generating new ideas for contemporary design. The growing interest in large ceramic surfaces on the part of designers and architects (and therefore of the manufacturing industry) owes much to technological innovations in all stages of production. The most important innovations, and the ones which have the biggest impact on the final aesthetic quality of products, are the finishing and surface treatment operations. In this segment, BMR has exploited its more than 40 years of experience and expertise to develop a complete line for polishing/honing, treatment, cutting/snapping and squaring of large format panels up to a size of 1600x3200 mm. BMR has installed a total of 25 lines for large sizes worldwide and guarantees a rapid, high quality technical support and spare parts service.
