Nynas seminar focuses on process oils creating sustainable value in India

As interest grows around the world for more environmentally friendly solutions for the automobile and industrial sectors, Nynas has already established itself as a market leader. On 10 December, The Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and Nynas will invite industry leaders to a seminar on 'A Perspective on Sustainable Oil Technologies for Tyre and Rubber and Its Impact on Health, Safety and Environment.' For the foreseeable future, process oils will clearly continue to play a leading role in meeting India's growing needs for transportation, both in the automobile as well as industrial sectors. However, the environmental impact of these process oils must be minimized. From the EU's ban on aromatic extracts in car tyres in 2010, to the introduction of EU energy labels in 2012, Nynas has been staying ahead of stricter environmental laws. Before 2010, Nynas had already started to develop products that would comply with stricter regulations. Today that investment has paid off. Nynas is now a global supplier of naphthenic oils, and the company has proven its dedication to this new marketplace. The tyre producers Nynas works with choose the company for its high-quality naphthenic oils, which offer better rolling resistance, particularly important in today's fuel-saving environment. The company also works closely with its customers who have specific requests to modify Nynas oils according to their needs. While labelling legislation may have begun in Brussels, there is similar legislation on its way in Moscow, Beijing and Brazil.
