摘要

Dehiscence of the uterine scar is a known complication of cesarean delivery (CD) and occurs in 0.2% to 4.3% of all pregnancies in women with a previous CD. Data on the outcomes and complications of a prior uterine scar dehiscence on the following pregnancy are scarce. This retrospective cohort study was performed to determine the maternal and perinatal outcomes in pregnancies associated with a previous CD and uterine scar dehiscence.Pregnancy outcomes were compared among women with and without prior uterine scar dehiscence who had a subsequent singleton pregnancy. A computerized database was used to identify women who had previously undergone 2 or more CDs. Demographic characteristics, pregnancy and labor complications, and birth outcomes were assessed.
