摘要

Gradual clogging of crack holes with products of metal oxidation and corrosion is one of the reasons for deterioration of the quality of specimens intended for penetrant testing. Specific features of the accumulation of oxides and oxidation products and their content are presented. Ways to increase the service life of specimens are proposed.
