CURRENT STATE OF THE RAW MATERIAL RESOURCES OF THE NORILSK MINING COMPANY

Copper-nickel sulfide ores of three deposits - Norilsk-1, Talnakh, and Oktyabr - comprise the base of the raw material resources of mining enterprises of the Norilsk Mining Company. The technological and economic needs of the company are met by deposits of nonmetallic industrial resources and construction materials, as well as subsurface drinking water. The copper-nickel deposits contain three industrial types of ores: massive sulfide (rich), vein-disseminated (cupriferous), and disseminated.
