ONE AREA OF APPLICATION OF THE PRINCIPLE OF A VORTEX CHAMBER IN METALLURGY

A new method of afterburning of the combustible components of the atmosphere in metallurgical furnaces based on the use of the principles of action of a peripheral vacuum pump and flat-flame burner is developed. The method is realized in the form of a reburner plants called a rotary-type radiation injector, which is tested under industrial conditions. A method of arriving at an approximate estimate of the suction capacity of a rotary-type radiation injector is proposed. A mathematical model of the gaseodynamics of the plant is described and certain results of mathematical modeling are presented.
