摘要

The possibility of calculating the residual life of a metal that functions under creep condi tions based on the degree of microdamage of its structure with operational microflaws, namely creep micropores, is discussed. The main parameter in the proposed calculation method is the specific num ber of creep micropores, i.e., the number of micropores in a unit of a metallographic section area. General formulas for calculating the lifetime and the residual life of a metal, in particular, equations for calculating the residual life for the steel that is most widely-used in power engineering, namely 12X1MΦ steel (1 Cr0.3Mo0.25V), are given.
