摘要

Experimental data illustrating the dependence of changes in the efficiency of electromagnetic-acoustic transformation (EMAT) of ferromagnets and the field range, which corresponds to the maximum changes, on the mechanical elastic stresses applied are presented. It is shown that the correlation between the EMAT parameters and stresses is determined by (a) the sign of the product of the saturation magnetostriction and stresses, (b) the behavior of the saturation magnetostriction and magnetization depending on the stresses, and (c) the type of skin effect.
