Thus, the question of developing the theoretical postulates of the process of combined rolling and extrusion has been considered. By solving the equation of the equilibrium of forces in the area of deformation a dependence has been obtained for determining the stress on the matrice that takes into account the conditions of deformation, the position of the matrice relative to the plane passing through the axes of the rollers, as well as features of different designs of the pass. That the theoretical dependences are unbiased was verified by a comparison with experimental data that have been presented in the literature. These comparisons demonstrated a good degree of convergence of the results, and thus these results may be used in analytic investigations and in planning and design calculations.
