摘要

The objective of our studies was to increase the capacity of the industrial electrolyzers and extend the service life of the anodes by forced cooling of the anode heads. The studies were made on two electrolyzers with in-line positioning of the electrodes in industrial conditions in an electrolysis facility using 200 kA amperage. On the heads of each of the anodes there were installed two box-type caissons, welded from sheet steel. On the busbar side each caisson had input and output fittings for water entry and exit.
