DISSOLUTION OF COBALT-CONTAINING MATERIALS IN THE PRESENCE OF SULFUR DIOXIDE

摘要

The dissolution of a number of cobalt-containing materials (with cobalt represented by oxide forms) in the presence of sulfur dioxide is investigated. The yield of SO_2 and the temperature and length of the dissolution process are optimized. The decisive influence of the concentration of dissolved reaction gas and the hydrodynamic regime in the system are noted.
