At this show it was refreshing to see how the radically different work of two potters and a painter can be put together in a way that gives equal value to their work but still results in a stimulating group exhibition. Chris Keenan makes functional porcelain see CR186). His thrown and crisply turned forms are immaculately glazed. He uses a deep celadon and a sumptuous temmoku; both glazes are well-used standards of the studio potter's trade but they look fresh when seen on his porcelain.
