The working plan for the trial leaching of the ores in the Tsentralnyi Sector of the Erdenetiin-Ovoo Deposit (Mongolia) was completed in 1999 at VNIPIpromtekhnologii (All-Union Scientific/Research Institute of Industrial Technology Planning) with the participation of the specialists of ZAO VNEShMET.The operations that were outlined in the plan are being conducted in the framework of the first stage of the implementation of the underground leaching (UL) technology. Upon obtaining positive results, the second stage will be the experimental/industrial exploitation of a representative segment of the Tsentralnyi Sector, followed by transition to the third stage - the commercial operation of this and possibly other segments of the deposit.
