PRESSURE OF SATURATED VAPOR OF COBALT CHLORIDE MELTS CONTAINING CHLORIDES OF RARE-EARTH METALS

Boiling temperatures at different pressures in the systems CoCl_2-LaCl_3, CoCl_2-CeCl_3, and CoCl_2-NdCl_3 are experimentally established. A survey of published data on vapor pressure of pure chlorides of rare-earth metals is presented. Calculations are performed for the temperature dependence of the pressure of saturated vapor, the enthalpy of evaporation and normal boiling temperatures of the systems.
