Dissolution kinetics of silver in nitrate solutions

The dissolution kinetics of silver in nitrate solutions at elevated temperatures under hydrothermal conditions is investigated using a rotating disk technique. The results that are obtained are generalized in the form of kinetic relations, the rate constants of the process are determined, and the kinetic behavior of the development of the process at prescribed intervals of the parameters is established. It is shown that ammonium nitrate exerts an effect on the process of silver dissolution.
