BaO-BaB_2O_4 Phase Diagram

摘要

Differential thermal analysis and visual polythermal analysis are used to study phase equilibria in the BaO-BaB_2O_4 system. The following compounds are formed in the system: Ba_5B_4On (which melts peritectically at 1170 + - 10 deg C), Ba_3B_2O_6 (which melts congruently at 1390 + - 10 deg C), and Ba_4B_2O_7 (which decomposes in the solid state at 1190 + - 10 deg C).
