Kinetics of Thermolysis of 5-Nitro-5-R-1,3-dioxanes

It has been shown earlier that the nature of 2-substituent in 5,5-dinitro-1,3-choxanes affects weakly the homolysis rate at the C-NO2 bond [1]. Aiming to extend this study, we examined the influence of the nature of 5-substituent on the rate and mechanism of thermolysis of the compounds of the general formula.
